【役所に届け出が必要な手続き】引っ越しで住所が変わる場合、役所に「転出届」または「転入届」の手続きが必要です。転出届は、現住所と異なる市区町村へ引っ越す場合に提出します。

【インターネット】プロバイダに連絡して解約継続して同じプロバイダ使用する場合は移転工事費が必要となります。

【水道】引越日以降に利用しない場合は、その引越日の3～4日前までに止める手続きを済ませておきましょう。インターネットなら24時間手続き可能。引っ越し日を指定して止めてもらうことができます。

【電気】最終使用日が決まったらなるべく早めに電力会社に連絡します。使用停止、解約の手続きをします。インターネットからも手続きが可能です。

【ガス】　ガス供給会社に連絡して停止の手続きをします。最終使用日が決まったら早めに連絡を入れてください。ガスは供給会社から委託を受けた係員が訪問し、メーターガス栓を　締める作業が必要となるため、立ち合いが必要です。インターネットからも手続き可能です。

【郵便局で郵便物の転送サービス】旧居に届く郵便物を1年間、新居に転送してもらえるサービスの手続きをしておきましょう。本人確認書類と旧住所が確認できる運転免許証や住民票の写し、パスポートなどが必要となります。

【その他各種配達サービスの解約】定期購入をしている宅食便やサプリメントなどの住所変更手続きや、配達を終了する場合は解約をします。

■ Procedures that require notification to the government office

Gas varies depending on the vendor, but basically you can contact us by phone, and in some cases you may be able to complete the procedure via the Internet. Be sure to contact the gas company as you will need to be present at the line. For water supply, contact the relevant Waterworks Bureau via the Internet or telephone to complete the procedure.

■ Other procedures

□ Procedures for items that require an address change You also need to change your address for other services. For example, newspaper delivery destinations, credit card companies, insurance companies,

Banks, NHK payments, etc. are examples. Please check the service contracted at your current address.

□ Relocation of fixed-line telephones For fixed-line telephones, you can relocate by telephone or via the Internet. If you are moving from within NTT East to within NTT West, please be aware that you will need to complete the procedures.
Telephone work requires reservations, so it is safe to apply early when there are many moves and it is easy to get crowded.
Don't forget to change your mobile phone address as well as your landline address.

□ Arrangement of mail forwarding It is convenient to have the mail that arrives at your old residence forwarded to your new home so that you will not have any trouble receiving the mail even after you move.
